I have lived all over New York State as a student, educator, musician, and counselor - there’s no place I’d rather spend my time than in the majesty of nature with the hope of sharing the inspiration and beauty.
It brings me joy to connect with people through our love of the Adirondack Park. The experience of capturing these moments is a story I hope I get to tell you one day!
Orson Phelps summited Marcy, in joyful astonishment he cried out “Heaven up-h’isted-ness!” The gibberish "Old Mountain" Phelps proclaimed is also best way I can describe it - that experience we all have had in beholding these Adirondacks.
Photographing “up-h’isted” moments deepen my connection to our Adirondack forest, communities, and my conviction to cherish and preserve them. I have done my very best to learn how to translate the primal essence of being in nature with every photograph - I have only done my job if you feel the image transports you to the that moment on the mountaintop or lakeshore with me.
